Glen Anderson

Glen was born in Golden Valley, North Dakota, on November 26, 1923, to Clark and Viola Anderson. He went to school in Buffalo, South Dakota, up to the eighth grade. Then he went to the Civilian Conservation Corps Camp for six months. After that he worked in Washington State in the shipyards. Glen worked on a ranch before he was sent into the service.

On November 12, 1943, Glen entered active service at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. He was trained and sent overseas on July 3, 1944, to the European theater. Pvt. Anderson fought his way through France, Belgium, and into Germany.

Army Pvt. Glen Anderson was killed in action on December 11, 1944.
